The Roman hospitality sector interprets the new times with flexibility and creativity, focusing on 'domestic' atmospheres. Alberto Moncada di Paternò does not belong to a historic family of hoteliers, but in ten years he has carried out his boutique hotel project (sixty rooms distributed throughout the Trident) where he has poured a cosmopolitan DNA and a savoir faire that comes from afar.

The Margutta 19 hotel (sixteen efficient luxury rooms) with the Emme restaurant represent the culmination of this hospitality undertaking, a gourmet 'living room' frequented by Romans seeking an international environment, and vice versa. A year ago here, during the Rome Film Festival, John Travolta let himself be won over by a plate of carbonara, and more. In this complicated autumn, the 'recipes of the day' in Emme's kitchen cannot fail to include, in addition to weekend brunch, the formula that has come to us from overseas of the staycation (stay with dinner in one's own city), while the preparation of the gastronomic ritual (very familiar and very stars and stripes) of Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated on November 26th.

Moncada, an entrepreneur with an Italian-American background and president of the Via Margutta association, believes a lot in this unique street: “There have been many changes in the center of Rome, but since I was a child, Via Margutta has remained like a village, a village, walking here is like feeling in the countryside”. For the restaurant Emme wanted an environment that feels like 'home' with a corner of the garden that takes light from the Pincio, and a menu dedicated to Italian tradition: "More than ever we want to support niche excellences, wines and many producers who they have invested in creating a high quality supply chain. I have a lot of sensitivity for young people who are passionate about the land, we want to promote them" says Moncada.
