Staycation, light lunch and brunch: Emme's tasteful formula in Rome

Light lunch, staycation , brunch are some of the formulas adopted by Emme Restaurant & Bar in this period to guarantee a rich offer, in complete safety, in compliance with the rules established for the containment of the coronavirus. Active for ten years in the boutique hotel business in the capital, precisely in the center of Rome,  Alberto Moncada  decided to open Margutta 19 and Emme within it from September 1st, with a proposal that combines hotels and rooms.

“Staycation” is the key word of the evening offer: dinner and stay come together, offering a sort of small “vacation” to guests, pampered at the table, then in the hotel and again, the next morning with breakfast in the room. Added to this are the light lunch, also ideal as a break during work, and the  brunch every Saturday and Sunday .

The offer is interesting, signed by the chef of Lucanian origins  Vincenzo Mobilio . The menu ranges from tuna tartare with prickly pear and orange emulsion to tagliatelle with duck ragù and flakes of salted ricotta. And again, from lamb to finger steaks scented with rosemary and organic oil with purple potato mousse up to desserts, such as the soft hazelnut delight with toasted grains. In between, soups, spaghetti with homemade pesto, avocado on toast – avocado mousse, poached egg and sesame seeds – and much appreciated cutting boards. Traditional Italian cuisine therefore meets inspirations from other countries, leading to the creation of dishes with an international flavor. The careful selection of raw materials is combined with great attention to the customer. The intent is to convey the idea of ​​being welcomed into a sort of luxury home, where people can feel pampered but at ease and safe, in fact, as if they were in their own home.

To enrich the offer, the outdoor space, a rarity in the heart of via Margutta, and the team made up of young people - average age, thirty years - also wanted to send a message of support to the new generations in this very difficult moment and also looking to the complexities of tomorrow.

One and more ways to feel good together, appreciating the pleasures of the table and company, even if distanced.
