New openings in Rome September 2019.  Putting together all the  news that September  brings  is not at all easy. After the great news that we gave you as a preview of the arrival of  Luciano Sorbillo in Rome , at  Ted  in Ostiense, here we are talking about the  new openings  that from this month will be added to the vast gastronomic offer of the Capital.

The  big names , albeit in different sectors, are talked about: on the one hand the long-awaited opening of the Antica Fonderia di Alba Esteve Ruiz , on the other the  mini restaurant  (just one table)  by Gabriele Bonci  next to the Panificio in via Trionfale . There is also anticipation for  Peppo 's encore  at Cosimato  who is working on a new venue in  Prati Fiscali  (expected in spring) and the trip to  Milan . Space for  South American cuisine with Reserva  which officially opens and brings the flavors and aromas of Latin America into an elegant environment with soft lighting. And if we want to talk about elegance, there is also  Emme Restaurant , inside the Margutta 19 boutique hotel. Two new cafés in the city: the historic  Sciascia  which doubles and  Piacere Matilda! , with a 1950s look. Morbido Burger & Spirits has also just opened   in the Cinecittà area, with a wide selection of meat and drinks, while we will have to wait until the end of the month for  Figo  and its three pillars, pizza – pasta – meat. News also on the  raw fish front : for a couple of months in the Piazza Bologna area there has been the excellent Cape Verdean cuisine of  O Rei Do Marisco , while the inauguration of Goki Sushi Experience has been scheduled for 27 September  , which presents itself as   high quality all you can eat . For street food lovers, however, we would like to point out the upcoming opening of  Five Guys , the well-known stars and stripes brand, a stone's throw from Via del Tritone, and of  Kram  al Pigneto, where burgers and craft beer alternate with music and games . Also in Pigneto,  Pastorie arrives at the end of September and brings with it all the tradition of Abruzzo, while in Trastevere the new Cambio  has taken the place of Buff  ,  with a combination of live musical performances and organic ingredients.


Emme Restaurant – Campo Marzio

It's a family affair that surrounds  Emme Restaurant . The name tells of its past and present: Emme stands for Margutta, the street of this new opening, and also stands for Moncada, a family that has made itself known in the hotel world. In fact, in these days Emme Restaurant opens its doors  inside the Margutta 19 boutique hotel . The restaurant idea was born from  chef Daniele Ladaga  (with years of experience at  Madeleine ) who leads the kitchen and is accompanied by  pastry chef Maria Chiara Serges . Giovanni Moncada is coordinating the new project. The proposal embraces  Italian gastronomic culture , without giving up  some international dishes , and distinguishes the lunch menu from the dinner menu. What remains unchanged, they tell us, is the attention to  seasonality  and the quality of raw materials, favoring short supply chain agri-food production.  Extensive wine list  that focuses above all on historic producers of the various Italian wine realities.
