In Rome there is now EMME, a restaurant between tradition and innovation in Via Margutta that winks at businessmen

ROME – Now there is  EMME  inside the  Boutique Hotel  in via Margutta 19, in the heart of Rome: a restaurant that between tradition and innovation offers a tasty selection of Italian and international gastronomic culture and winks at businessmen.

A place that conveys the warmth of a welcoming and refined home right from the first steps inside the room: for those who want to enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner, or want to take a gastronomic break from work, for business meetings, and , from November, also for businessmen looking for an (exceptional) workstation equipped with Wi-Fi connection.

A point worthy of note is the rigorous attention to the quality of the raw materials which draw on the best of short supply chain production and which translates into a menu which enhances the aromas and flavors of seasonality, where there is something for all tastes and leave nothing to chance.

Just to give a few examples, for "healthy" choices or for those on a "diet" there are centrifuges and smoothies, such as the purifying one with fennel, carrot, orange, mint and celery or the regenerating one with papaya, dried fruit and yogurt or the salads such as baby spinach with walnuts, parmesan, pear and mustard and honey sauce (the allergens of which are indicated as for most of the dishes on the menu) or meat or fish, whether grilled or baked. Those who love traditional dishes will be able to have satisfaction: pasta carbonara, amatriciana or even gricia, a homemade tagliatelle, veal with tuna sauce... and even those with a sweet tooth will have something to enjoy thanks to a chocolate soufflé!

For the wine list, EMME Restaurant has made a careful and balanced choice of labels to satisfy every type of palate, including the best bottles of historic producers from the various Italian wineries who in recent years have worked to keep their tradition alive and vibrant winemaking. And it is precisely to enhance these traditions that the restaurant's programs also include the organization of evenings dedicated to excellent products and wines which will be presented by the producing companies themselves to create opportunities for dialogue between the different food and wine cultures.

In the EMME Restaurant will be the young  Giovanni Moncada -  son of the owner  Alberto Moncad a - who makes available his consultancy, expertise, his studies in Switzerland and his profound knowledge of international catering gained in more than six years of experience in starred restaurants around the world - to coordinate the new brigade led by the young  chef  Daniele Ladaga.

Chef Ladaga will propose a cuisine that speaks the language of the great Italian gastronomic culture and interprets international dishes with freshness and imagination. Two distinct selections for lunch and dinner that allow gourmets to live a unique and exclusive experience of taste, an intense emotion that begins by walking along Via Margutta, enthralled and with their eyes upwards, and which is completed at the table.

“EMME  – explains the owner Alberto Moncada, with a great talent expressed in the world of hospitality who has now decided to launch himself into the new venture of opening a restaurant with an innovative vision –  presents itself as the restaurant in which the Italian and foreign public enters a welcoming lounge that opens up a secret garden to the gaze, in an exclusive setting on the slopes of  Villa Borghese  to celebrate the ritual of lunch or dinner or for an aperitif while feeling absolutely at home" .

“ To our Roman and international customers  – adds Moncada –  and also to those who are in Rome for work, we want to offer the experience of a pleasant and young restaurant in a relaxing atmosphere, also to spend a few hours of smart work, in a a place like via Margutta that everyone loves as if it were a piece of their own history. A fascinating and exciting challenge . "

EMME like Moncada, EMME like Margutta, the restaurant is linked to the initials of the Roman street with its unparalleled location and of a family and a man, Alberto Moncada, who faces this new adventure with enthusiasm and the desire to leave a strong trace and lasting also in catering as it has already done in the hotel world since, in 2006, it left its mark of strong innovation on the style of hospitality in the historic center of Rome. Moncada launched its first prestigious suites until arriving at Margutta 19, the charming five-star hotel which houses the EMME restaurant inside.
