Rome, 6 November 2019 – Emme renews the lunch break proposal with a menu that preserves the gourmet spirit, draws on Italian gastronomic tradition and enriches the offer with dietary and revitalizing dishes and drinks. Choosing to stop for lunch in the "living room" in via Margutta, located inside the Boutique Hotel Margutta 19, therefore satisfies every palate and every different food preference.

The menu designed by chef Daniele Ladaga, with the contribution of international experience from Giovanni Moncada (son of the owner of the restaurant Alberto Moncada and consultant to the property), offers authentic and very tasty "treats" such as Burrata or marinated salmon tartare, veal with tuna or soups of the day, perfect for the coming autumn. There is also space for snacks with an international flavor such as the smoked provola cheeseburger and the club sandwich with chicken salad, egg, tomato and bacon. Purists of Italian cuisine will be able to appreciate the homemade tagliatelle with tomato, basil and salted ricotta or traditional spaghetti in the different "shades" of Roman cuisine: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe and alla gricia.

Emme's culinary "palette" does not lack any chromatic nuance and presents its light proposal with grilled white and red meats, animals reared on the land and on the Lazio pastures, seared tuna fillets and baked salmon of the best Mediterranean and Atlantic fish, which can be accompanied with steamed vegetables, seasoned raw with DOP oil from Tuscia or Umbria, sautéed or au gratin. The menu is very rich with light and appetizing salads and centrifuges and smoothies. Those who like a healthy diet that caresses the palate and is good for the body are spoiled for choice: at Emme you will find purifying, anti-stress, draining, protein, detox, regenerating and energizing drinks. In short, a gourmet menu for every taste always linked to seasonality and short supply chain raw materials.

The wine list proposed by EMME Restaurant also offers an accurate and balanced choice that will satisfy the most demanding palate. EMME's idea is to carry out research by including in the list the best bottles of historic producers from the various Italian wineries who have worked in recent years to perpetuate their winemaking tradition.

Emme then has another news to tell: from November the restaurant in via Margutta becomes the Smartplace in the heart of Rome. The restaurant in via Margutta also opens up to hospitality for smart working and is the first to do so in the historic center of the capital. Not just a gourmet restaurant, therefore, but also a smart space that offers businessmen and visitors looking for a wifi connection, comfort and tranquility the most beautiful digital office dedicated to those traveling in the capital. In the intermediate times between breakfast and lunch and in the afternoon after lunch until dinner time Emme provides spaces with Smart workstations in the large room or in the secret garden inside the Boutique Hotel to allow those who need it to be connected and to use those hours to make the most of the entire day spent away, perhaps even organizing work meetings in a relaxing and unique environment in the heart of the Trident, with an intimate and evocative outdoor area, in the street dedicated to art and cinema at the foot of Villa Borghese, a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo. Chef Daniele Ladaga
His great passion since childhood pushed him to work in restaurants near his home, after completing his studies he graduated from the Ipssar Artusi hotel institute in Rome. His experience began working with chef Salvatore Bianco; he continues at Siriola in San Cassiano under the starred chef Claudio Melis; subsequently he is at the Capofaro Malvasia & Resort with Riccardo di Giacinto, to work with Antonello Colonna. For the previous three years he managed the Madeleine restaurant brigade.

Pastry Chef Maria Chiara Serges
Pastry chef and decorator among her wonderful experiences includes Heinz Beck at Pergola in Rome and a year in Paris at Joel Robuchon's Atelier Etoile.

Giovanni Moncada
Son of the owner, Alberto Moncada, acts as consultant to the property. He makes all his expertise available to Emme (he has a degree in Business administration and Global hospitality management from the prestigious “Les Roches” school in Switzerland) and his in-depth knowledge of international catering gained in more than six years of work experience in restaurants stars around the world. Creative ability and cultural sensitivity that Giovanni Moncada instills in Emme's culinary philosophy and hospitality style.
